Carlo Fierens, described as a “classical guitarist extraordinaire,” returns to Woolhope for a second consecutive year. With a career that began in early childhood, Fierens has captured international attention, winning more than ten First Prizes in various prestigious competitions. In 2013, his extraordinary abilities were formally recognised when he received the Italian National Prize for the Arts – an honour awarded by the Ministry of Education to the country’s top music student.

Fierens’ impressive resume includes performances across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia, gracing world-renowned venues such as the Kennedy Centre in Washington, as well as stages in Hong Kong, Japan, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Milan and Rome. His expressive style, technical mastery, and emotional depth promise an unforgettable evening for attendees.
